PS SCOTT HANZY

Pastor Scott Hanzy is the Senior Minister at Gateway City Church Wollongong and, along with his wife Rachael, sons Caleb, Jared, Daniel and Noah, live in Wollongong on Australia’s South Coast.

Pastor Scott is well known for moving in the supernatural and the miraculous power of God as well as for his down-to-earth manner of uncomprisingly preaching from the Word of God.

He completed his ministry training at the Hillsong College in Sydney before working as a youth pastor then as an itinerate evangelist for 5 years, while also creating Youth Ablaze Australia, a national youth movement out of the Apostolic Church of Australia.

Pastor Scott has been the Senior Minister at Gateway City Church Wollongong since 2002 and in that time has seen the church explode to nearly triple its original size, with no signs of slowing down. The culture of his church reflects his own passion to see the church express the supernatural power of God in a way that is ‘naturally supernatural’ and accessible to the unchurched. The annual Supernatural conference was birthed out of Pastor Scott’s heart to see the promises of Pentecost be expressed in Pentecostal churches and this has seen many pastors return to their own congregations with renewed faith in a miracle-working God.

PS JIM & PAT PRIMOSSICH

Pastors Jim & Pat Primossich have been pastoring for over fifteen years and serving the last two at the Gateway. They have been married for 36 years and have two adult children.

Their heart's desire is to see every Christian equipped to fulfill their God given destiny. They believe in imparting only what they have first gained in victory for themselves. This enables them to move in a greater level of power and authority and impartation of God's truth, love and freedom. They oversee the Process to Destiny Ministry that encompasses all aspects of discipleship.

They have developed practical tools to teach the "how to" of being set free to overcome things of the past, hurts to be healed and bondages broken through the power of God's love and forgiveness. Two of these tools are: Encounter Retreats that they have been conducting for over 8 years and seen many hundreds of people had their lives changed and the Boot Camp, 24 Hours of Prayer and Fasting, has recently been introduced and assists people to connect directly with God for their breakthrough. They are also experienced in many years of personal ministry.

BEN CARDEN

Ben Carden is the Children's Pastor at Gateway City Church. A trained Primary School teacher with eight years teaching experience, he took on the role of Children's Pastor in late 2005.

Ben is passionate about dynamic children's ministry and loves seeing children living lives sold out for Jesus at a young age. Far more than a 'baby sitting' club, he sees Children's Ministry as an opportunity to captivate a younger generation with the love, power, presence and reality of God and His Word. He desires to see kids actively sharing their faith, and encourages kids to walk in the amazing plan and purpose God has for their lives.

Ben's heart is to see Children's Ministry be much more than church on a Sunday. He passionately desires to impact the children of Wollongong with the practical love of God and to see them living in the joy that comes from knowing their Creator.

Ben has been married for nine years to his wife, Anna. They have one son, Toby and are expecting their second child in June 2008.
